Easy check-in, very clean. Easy access to Metro. I would definitely recommend. If what you are looking for is a place to crash in between sightseeing, events, work or whatever it is you are in Minneapolis for, this is it. One room studio apt with a nice comfortable bed, couch, big tv with netflix, amazon and various tv apps, a nice kitchen area with microwave, oven, coffee maker and fridge and I loved the shower!
Location wise this is awesome. Target was nearby for groceries during the stay, downtown towers and bars and mall were just a couple of blocks away. Although if you wish to take the bus around town, a bus stop is right outside the apartment. I will definitely book this again if traveling back myself. Just one small heads up for light sleepers would be there is a huge hospital next door, so there was a lot of ambulance and helicopter traffic during the night.
A nice basket with wine and sleep aids was provided though and may help with this if needed : This didn't bother me but if someone a light sleeper, I figure should know :. Anyway - wonderful stay, I'd do it again. If you are looking for a quiet stay in the down town areaeasily accessible from the light train stationlook no further.
Though we got great price for this place, which has a fantastic location, we were disappointed to find hairs in our bed and bathroom. The hosts were great at communication. The original space I had booked had a strange smell coming from the unit. I immediately got in contact with the hosts and luckily they had another unit available.
The new one was more expensive but you get what you pay for. The second unit was beautiful and very clean. It was a nice place to come back to during the day and felt like home. I really appreciate that the hosts were so easy to get in contact with if there are any issues.
The unit were very close to downtown so it was about a minute walk. Thanks Micheal and Chris for a beautiful stay! They always treat us so well.
Their co-host, Michael, is great too. We loved our stay at Chris and Monica's and will definitely try to stay here again during our next visit to Minneapolis, hopefully during warmer weather so we can use the cute patio out back. The place itself was clean, well decorated and offered many amenities. We especially enjoyed making our breakfasts in the well stocked kitchen before heading out for the day.
The location was perfect for us and was central to all of the different parts of the city that we came to see. Thanks Chris and Monica! It is such a beautiful space with a spectacular kitchen, updated bath and a very comfortable bed.
Chris and Monica were always quick in responding to my many questions. I plan to stay here again in May! We felt at home as soon as we walked up the stairs. Great amenities: Keurig, Netflix, large cooktop, excellent wifi etc Decor was a nice mix of local stuff and mid-century.
All very comfortable and clean. Location was perfect for the Vikings game--a 4 block walk. About a 25 minute walk to North Loop. Hosts were nearby and very helpful--quick reaction time. We'll definitely re-book if we come back for another Vikings game. Michael was fabulous about communicating, providing easy to follow check-in and checkout instructions, checked in to make sure we got in safely and periodically to see if we needed anything.
The lights and air conditioning were on when we arrived so we were comfortable and didn't have to stumble around in the dark with our bags. I wanted to move into this apartment! So nicely furnished, beautiful high ceilings, super nice kitchen, and a rooftop deck all in an ideal location.
Wonderful apartment with amazing views from the rooftop! Beautifully designed space with all amenities, and very easy and timely communication with hosts. I look forward to staying here again next time I'm in Minneapolis. Bed was comfortable and room was cool temperature Everything else is about what you would expect from a hostel. Wouldn't want to stay for more than nights. Great location--easy access to US Bank transportation hub.
Safe, secure, comfortable, nice kitchen and common area. Don't know if my standards are too high. The place is ok but could be much better in my opinion. It doesn't make you want to stay longer I felt very at home here! It was close to a lot of good places to eat, and to go out to. It was also clean, and had a good vibe.
I enjoyed my stay here! This was the most professional and articulate host I have stayed with! It was a very nice place to stay with a lovely host and other other Airbnb user! Thanks a lot for hosting me! If you're looking for a place to rest your head this spot is great. Each bed gets its own power strip, towel, and wash cloth. Sharing a restroom isn't really a problem since they let people block off times for things like showers. Speaking of, they supply basic body wash and shampoo.
I think the coolest thing is they have a food cabinet with grub that anyone can eat from. Free secure wifi and a roku, a shelf full of board games, and it's a few blocks away from US Bank stadium.
I'd recommend it to anyone so long as they understand it's a hostel and aren't expecting your typical bed and breakfast. I was a long term guest at Steve's hostel and was able to be both a guest, and experience much of the behind the scenes operations of the place. Steve is very genuine, communicates excellent, and strives to give each guest a great stay.
The hostel is clean, in a convenient location, and the best lodging price in the Twin Cities area. Common areas are comfortable, kitchen is well stocked, and there is a nice TV with netflix. Overall, this hostel is a good value and is well managed. This is a lovely older home with character high ceilings, wood trim, etc that has been turned into a delightful guesthouse.
The room was simple and neat on the first floor. The bathroom is on the second floor and shared by 5 guest rooms. Overall, this is a good budget option in Minneapolis. There isn't a half-star option, but I would give it 3. The big upsides include: code locks on every door so you can come and go at will and don't have to arrange check in or check out with the hosts, which is nice!
Wi-Fi was also good and the house was overall pretty quiet. The few things to keep in mind before booking for some, these may matter and for others they'd be fine, but I want to give all the info I can : the front window in this room didn't have curtains or a way to block out the light at night and the front is often lit up, so if light bothers you you may want to look into their other rooms and see if they're a bit less lit up or ask Amy and Josh about it; I've mentioned it to them, so they might get a curtain by the time someone else books.
I also had trouble shutting and closing the side window, which bothered me since I was a woman traveling alone and staying on the first floor.
I did get the window closed eventually, but it was tough. If this is a concern, maybe ask them to close and lock it before you arrive. The room is right by the front door, so you do occasionally hear the noises of locks opening and people coming in. Nobody was noisy, but if you are sensitive to noise, it's worth noting. There was a fan in the room and when I turned that on it blocked out any other noise. I also had some trouble with the shower.
In my five days there, I think I had three hot showers and two cool ones. Finally, if you won't have internet access the day you arrive, make sure to ask for check in details early. I was surprised to get an email a few hours before arrival with all the details I had already given my arrival time, so was just expecting that they would be there and didn't realize I needed to check email on the day of.
I don't always check email on long travel days since airports don't always have Wi-Fiso it was lucky that I got it. It would have been frustrating to arrive and have no way of knowing how to get in.
Overall, a good budget spot with comfy beds and a lot of The house was right near the bus, so it was super easy to travel around Minneapolis. I loved my stay! This is a fine place for the value, but be warned that there is no AC and the room gets hot, naturally.
Having lived in the desert, I thought I would be fine, but it was still hot, even with the fan. The hosts indicate that there no AC, so know your limits. My only other issue is 5 rooms and 1. But all that is known going in. The bed was comfy, the upstairs bathroom is clean, and the space is big otherwise.
Good location too. Great people, great location and great houses! So there was always a worry as to whether you'd be able to use the restroom. Thomas's place is very charming. The apartment is beautifully decorated, sunny, and incredibly clean.
Communication was easy, and check-in and check-out were very convenient. Communication was great, Thomas always responded nearly immediately and was super helpful!
Definitely would stay here again! This AirBnB was just as described. A lovely place to stay while you are in Minneapolis for family, fun, or work. Location was convenient for getting around to different parts of the city.
The apartment was sparkling clean and very cute. Simple, easy check in and Thomas was very prompt with communication. Trisha's place is absolutely beautiful! We loved staying in this cozy Airbnb. We would definitely stay again soon. Space is as described and frankly struck us as even nicer than the photos -- the light upstairs during the day is quite good. Communication with Trisha was seamless. I recommend staying here.
Stylishly decorated and located near great activities, bars and restaurants. Trisha provides more than just basic amenities. Her book of local tips was amazing even our local friends saw things in there she didn't know about.
This place is just so cozy and inviting! We loved the spaces and had plenty of room! Parking was a piece of cake and it was close enough to walk to some things! Super clean and had everything we needed! The studio is cute and atmospheric. Chris and Monica were quick to respond. Their home is beautiful and the details are amazing! Great hosts. The place was nice and clean, and the location of the place was extremely convenient.
We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to others. The host were nice and easy to contact. Great place to stay in the heart of Minneapolis! Chris and Monica responded quickly with any questions we had! Chris and Monica were very responsive to our needs and provided great suggestions for places to visit! Great space in a great location. If you are contemplating a stay in downtown Minneapolis, look no further. No better location than this.
The space was exactly what we were looking for. Walking distance to US Bank stadium and free parking! Coffee, towels and tv were all great amenities. Ride plus minibus place to stay in downtown Mpls. Our stay was comfortable and was what we expected. The views of the city from the unit added a nice ambiance. Location was great and the unit was very clean. Thanks for a great stay! The location was great.
Elton was great about communicating. First off, when my wife daughter and I showed up the apartment was filthy. There were empty pizza boxes on the floor. Trash in the trash cans. Dirty towels in the bathroom. Then to make matters worse we discovered the the apartment was full of mold. This was verified by our host who immediately advised us to leave. Airbnb is apparently now investigating. Avoid this place. This apartment is absolutely gorgeous and you cannot beat the location!
The kitchen was great, the beds are super comfy, and the space heaters and ceiling fans were a nice touch. The hosts are also very responsive and accommodating. Just be aware that the walls are pretty thin, so you may hear a bit of noise from the neighbors. This place is a beautiful apartment with a great location! Quick walks to great food, drinks, and entertainment. The host got back to us within minutes of messaging them and were very friendly!
We look forward to our next visit!! Beautiful place! Very convenient to the Vikings stadium. The beds are insanely comfortable. Awesome to have a parking spot right behind the building. Chris and Monica were wonderful! Excellent communicators, very patient with me when I messed up my check in times, location close to downtown was perfect for my purposes, and reserved parking spot was absolutely imperative!!! My fiancé and I enjoyed our short time in Minneapolis at Brad's place!
It was incredibly clean, stylish, and perfect size for the two of us. It was helpful to come with a parking spot as well for our needs. If youre looking for a place to rent out when staying near downtown Minneapolis, I would highly recommend this specific apartment space!!!
This specific AirBnB unit would have to be my favorite place to have rented so far. Everything about the unit was beautifully and wonderfully thought out.
My truest and honest first impression when renting the space was basically not expecting it to be great and that it would be just an average apartment. Man was I wrong! Walking into a clean, well air-conditioned, beautifully detailed apartment had just shocked me.
With it being fully furnished and having just about every amenity that someone would need, I felt like as if I was at home. Not only was the apartment space amazing, I was truly impressed with how great of a person Brad was.
Awesome location especially if going to the US Bank Stadium. Everything was very walkable. Cute place with exactly what we needed. This was my first time staying at an AirBnB, so I was a bit nervous about what to expect. Check in was simple and easy. The entrance in the back of the building makes it almost seem like you have a private entrance to the apartment.

Quiet, peaceful hostel meant for students, professionals, etc. Not for parties. Alcohol prohibited. Please read the house rules fully before booking. Brice TZ Great place to stay. Matthew TZ A convenient, safe, clean and simple experience. Would do it again! John TZ Steve's place is definitely the most affordable option anywhere near downtown Minneapolis. Kevin TZ Was pretty much what I expected. Timothy TZ As others have said, you get what you pay for.
Chandrika TZ Steve's place was extremely nice, probably the first hostel I got free coffee and breakfast! Tatu TZ Nice, pleasant stay. Ponlkrit TZ. Type de logement Chambre d'hôtel Type de propriété Auberge de jeunesse Capacité d'accueil 1 Chambres 1.
Bunk 3B - Downtown Minneapolis Hostel. Easy to access the place and the city from it! Christopher TZ I think it is a good place for one night stay. Tumenkhuslen TZ Extremely good deal. Jewel TZ You pretty much get what you pay for. Jessica TZ Great place. Cristian TZ Nice place, clean and comfortable, great location, good enough for backpackers! Juan TZ. Bunk 3D - Downtown Minneapolis Hostel. The neighborhood is a peaceful place and the house is very peaceful as well.
If you are looking for a relaxing experience that is walking distance from restaurants and cafes this is a great spot for you. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers. The house is 8 blocks from the university and 1 mile from the hub of West Bank. It is just me and the cat living here so it is a very quiet house. I work during the days teaching ESL and am home in the evenings. The place is very spacey and simple. Note: There is Wifi internet at the house. Nicolas TZ I really enjoyed staying with Janet and her cat!
Tomo TZ My three weeks at Janet's place were perfect. Pooja Elizabeth TZ Janet is a wonderful host -- very caring, loving and welcoming. Ananya TZ Kind host and will definitely book again next time.
Tsin-Tsai TZ. One bedroom in peaceful, quiet house. The 3rd floor of our home is a clean, quiet and charming unit. The home is over years old, so you can expect some quirkiness that an old Victorian home offers. Our home is very centrally located and within walking distance to downtown Minneapolis. Each of our guest rooms is sun filled with a comfy queen size bed.
In warmer summer months, we have a window AC unit available for use, as well as a fan. In winter months, extra blankets are available. Included in your stay is access to gigabit internet 50 times faster than most others.
We love good food, so we can also point you in the direction of local eating hot spots. We love our neighborhood. So much so, that we bought another home right across the street where we are raising our three daughters. We appreciate its diversity and vibrancy and how centrally located it is to the entire metro!!
Because we are in the heart of the city, we get to experience people from broad cultural and economic backgrounds in a densely populated area. Our neighborhood, Ventura Village, is a part of the most diverse neighborhood in the entire country with over languages spoken here! There are restaurants, healthcare buildings, old Victorian homes, apartment buildings, and non-profit organizations.
We consider it a privilege to live here, but it being in the heart of the city is not for everyone. During your stay, you may encounter lingering people panhandling. If this makes you feel uncomfortable, we may not be the place for you.
Obviously, you will want to exercise "street smarts" as you would in any major metropolitan area. If you are looking for a quieter stay in the Twin Cities, you may prefer looking outside of our neighborhood.
But we hope you won't. David TZ I stayed in room 8 3rd floorthe room was super nice and beautiful. Linda TZ Josh and Amy are wonderful hosts who are always willing to help. Amanda TZ Great home Ruben TZ The room was a good size with lots of light perhaps even too much given the time the sun was rising - which wasn't necessarily the time we wanted to rise!
Timothy TZ Amy and Josh were great about communicating with me. Andy TZ Second time in a row staying here. Very close to center of Minneapolis and plenty to do nearby.
Abby TZ. Near Downtown, Cozy Queen [8a]. This third-floor studio apartment with a woodsy feel and loft has all the privacy you need for a Twin Cities get-away weekend. Paul and the University of Minnesota. The studio has a bathroom lumicell cellulite therapy a kitchenette with a refrigerator, sink, microwave no stove.
The studio space has two queen beds in different nooks. Our space has two queen beds, a full bath, and a common space with a couch, sitting area and wood-burning stove, table and chairs, and a kitchenette.
For breakfast, the Pow-Wow Cafe is right around the corner and the fabulous Maria's Cafe is right down the street. In the summer, our home has AC units in the windows and a ceiling fan overhead.
In the winter, the unit has forced air and a wood-burning stove. We are glad to provide a heating blanket to those who would like one.
We have free parking on the street, but no reserved parking spots on the property. There is plenty to do in the Minneapolis metro area, and our place is just.
We are 1. If you are coming to the cities for a gastronomic adventure, Hell's Kitchen, Matt's Bar for the Juicy Lucy burger or Fogo de Chao for a fancy dinner are just a short drive away. A note about our urban, ethnic neighborhood: we do live in the city center which means that our neighborhood is busy and very varied: our home is near bus lines, public spaces like parks, coffee shops, non-profit offices, other large old Victorian homes, government buildings, apartment complexes, health clinics, and the many different types of people traveling through the neighborhood on a daily basis.
Urban city life is densely populated, so you will want to exercise city-smarts and common sense when traveling out late at night from our place.
If that makes you uncomfortable, you might prefer to stay in one of the quieter neighborhoods outside the city center like Nokomis or Eden Prairie, White Bear, St. Louis Park, Plymouth, or Longfellow.
We, however, love the energy of the city of Minneapolis. One of our favorite pluses of living in Minneapolis's city center in the Ventura Village neighborhood is the fact that we enjoy a huge diversity of neighbors from all parts of the world and with it the customs, the dress, the food, and vivacity that they all bring to Minneapolis.
Michelle TZ We had a great stay at the treetop apartment! Kate TZ This place is really cool! Jon TZ Zach and Betsy's loft was super clean and comfortable! Karen and Taylor Karen TZ Accurately listed, great, clean, unique space, great communication. Anthony TZ We loved this Airbnb!

You are going to love staying blocks from the US Bank Stadium, Guthrie, Convention Center, Mississippi River and all the downtown restaurants, cafes and shopping Minneapolis has to offer. Enjoy our classic historic brownstone built during Minneapolis' flour and timber mill boom. Although the exterior is on the historic register, we work to preserve the character and charm of this 19th Century gem.
The hard wood maple floors have recently been sanded and the brick exposed and sealed. Finally you will love the roominess that extends from the 11' tall ceilings. Very style, clean and such a cute suite! Rebecca is super responsive when a question should arise She is very considerate and thoughtful with the small personalize touches in the home. Unfortunately we were only there one night but I hope to return again. It was in a great location and walking distance to several things.
There were so many nice touches around the apartment such as snacks, coffee, tea, and a recommendation book. Rebecca was quick to respond. I would recommend her place to anyone looking for a quiet, clean place to stay in Minneapolis. The bathroom was well stocked and clean and the artwork in the space was amazing! The location was wonderful, just minutes from everything we needed!
I will definitely be back! I had a wonderful stay at Rebecca's guest suite. It was pleasantly quiet and comfortable and cozy.
The bed was incredibly comfy and I slept better than in my own bed I think! The added little touches for the morning and in the bathroom where welcomed and I love finding little snacks and a note for me when I arrived somewhat late. The space is sparkling clean and the neighborhood is very quiet and residential. There was plenty of street parking and it was very easy to get around via Lyft or Uber or if you have a bicycle.
