The best ride at Alton Towersthe best ride in the UK in my opinion. Always queue a bit longer and get front row seats for the best viewor get on the back for maximum G!
Phat Buoy Septembre 24, Two different rides - the disorientating headache in the middle, and the amazing experience on the front row. Deffo worth queuing for front row seats.
One of the oldest yet in my opinion the best rollercoasters in the park! Queue times are usually short too, can't get enough of it. I can speak from experience when I say. Rob Gibson Janvier 17, Dont close your eyes, and try sit at the front! If not sit at the very back at the far right! First class hosts, we were delayed and was last check in jacqui sat up and waited and directed us as we got lost lol thanks for that, place is sparkling clean, nice we touches with bread and cereal etc thanks again.
Ill be in stafford for next 6 months working will defo get a week back with you. Absolutely lovely place to stay, clean and tidy. Kind and friendly welcome when we arrived. Would highly recommend. Absolutely brilliant place. Great location, lovely surroundings, and fantastic accommodation with lots of little touches to make your stay that bit better.
Thank you so much, will definitely be back again!! Shirleywich Farm is amazing! The canal is just a 5 minute walk away, our dog loved being off the lead literally from the front door for miles of walks!
We will be back for sure. The host is realey helpfull and guided us to the property and the cottage was done out to a high standard and the under floor heating was great but no wifi where we were great for the dogs aswellsmall dogs could escape through the gate tho, there was everything there to use just incase you forgot to take lets sat your hair dryer, we had a great stay and would love to stay again.
Rachael and Nick went above and beyond to make sure our stay was every bit what we had hoped for. Personalised touches, welcoming us, offering suggestions for places to go and also a doggie bed and bowls for our dog who loved being able to run free in the fields. Will definitely be returning in the new year as there was too much to see and do! Rachael and Nick were the perfect hosts.
The home was beautifully presented, and everything we could have needed was right there for us. It was easy to see lots of love and attention had been put into this home. Rachael suggested lots of wonderful places to walk, and visit around Stafford, which is a beautiful area.
She also combien de litre de the vert faut il boire pour maigrir directions and maps to help us find our way around. Rachael was incredibly thoughtful, and wanted to ensure we had the best experience during our short time there.
It was an absolute pleasure, and we can't wait until the next stay! The Smithy barn is so beautifully presented and super cosy.
We stayed for 3 nights and loved every minute. The barn is super clean, stylish and still feels like new. The barn is in a fantastic location with lots of lovely walks nearby - the canal walks are super peaceful. Rachael is a really thoughtful host and went out of her way to ensure we had the best stay possible. The bed in the barn is really comfortable. The barn has good amenities - microwave, oven, big fridge, tv, Wi-fi and a kettle to brew a much needed tea after a long walk.
Squirrel barn is a great place to stay. We stayed with 14 people and didn't feel too cramped. Although if we'd had a longer stay the limited indoor common area may have become an issue. Would certainly return in the summer though to take advantage of the great outdoor space and hot tub.
David was a great host. Provided loads of info on booking, was very quick to respond, accommodated any requests and generally made us feel at home. Supplying breakfast items incluodng fresh eggs was a nice touch and made the mornings easier for us.
A really great place and would highly recommend. Our family had a wonderful weekend at this special place. David was an excellent host with a warm welcome and was on hand for any queries we had.
The accommodation was clean and pleasant with six flags md water rides of games to play in the garden. And of course the hot tub was delightful! We'll defintely hope to stay again.
A fabulous little hide away for friends and families, we will be back! We met friends here for a catch-up mid week break and our young children loved it. The outside is well stocked with toys and the hot tub is fun for all the family! The house is well appointed and very clean.
The owners are very relaxed and will go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and ensure you have everything you need. Brilliant place! Great well equipped cottage. Secluded location perfect for a party! Hot tub was fantastic! Host was very welcoming and friends day and could not do enough for us.
Definitely recommend!! Perfect home for a fun weekend away with friends or family. David was a true gent and went above and beyond what was expected of a host. He has clearly listened to all previous suggestions from guests and the house is well stocked with gadgets and games. The wood fuelled hot tub was lovely.
I would fully recommend this house, and it's host David, and wouldn't hesitate booking in the future. I just wished we'd booked a longer stay to fully utilise the house and explore the beautiful countryside. Thank you so much for everything. Squirrel barn was amazing! It is fitted out with everything you could possibly need and then some! David was a brilliant host, he was on hand to answer any questions and he showed me around and pointed everything out that I might need.
Would definitely return and hopefully get to use the hot tub next time. Thank you. Great property in a beautiful location. Great communication too. Thumbs up from us! Place was amazing!! Loads of fun games and activitys too play with for kids and adults all ages.
And the host will go out off his way to make sure you have the perfect stay!! This wonderful barn conversation has everything! Fantastic facilities along with some excellent hosting. What a lovely place to stay. Jaci and Fraser are the perfect hosts, lovely homemade shortbread, all the amenities you could want and advice on where to go to eat.
The rooms are immaculate, cosy and quiet. Jaci and Fraser were really welcome hosts. They offered special touches, the guest bed made up ready for our Granddaughter with a treat on her pillow. A well stocked fridge with treats for breakfast. Yummy homemade shortbread perfect for our first cup of tea after a busy day out. The accommodation was very cosy with a lovely bathroom. All well thought out. Directions to the property were easy to follow.
Well recommended to passing travellers and visitors to local attractions. Amazing stay in the countryside, just what we wanted. We stayed with our 16 month old son and he loved the animals, especially the ducks. Jaci made the extra effort to make us feel welcome leaving us fresh butter, jams, shortbread, eggs and all other essentials that you don't usually get in self catering places.
The annexe is very clean including the bathroom. The location is great, we went to Alton Towers waterpark and cbeebies land with our son and it's a 15 minute drive through the gorgeous countryside. We also went to Trentham Gardens and Monkey Forest which is 20 mins drive away.
Jaci and her husband are very welcoming and friendly, would happily stay here again, augmentation mammaire bonnet c fwrite array for having us. A lovely place, bright, clean, cosy and comfortable. Lots of welcoming touches with generous continental breakfast and delicious shortbread!
Excellent communication and warmly welcomed, yet unobtrusive hosts. Highly recommended. We really enjoyed our stay with Jaci. The place is very well appointed, comfortable and cosy. We stayed with our 2 young children and would recommend it for a family. The sofa bed is comfortable and easy to use.
They are brilliant hosts: very welcoming and friendly. We loved it — it was a perfect place to get some rest after a day at Alton Towers. We will definitely be staying again. A fantastic place to stay, clean, comfortable and perfectly located for visiting the Alton towers.
Jaci was lovely making sure we had everything we needed and giving us suggestions of where to visit. The breakfast cereal, milk, bread, jams, yogurt, croissant, orange juice, and fruits were a nice extra not to mention the homemade Butter shortbread. The Barn was a great place to stay for our quick trip to Alton Towers; although we didn't have time to see much in the Peaks, it's a very convenient location to branch out into the Peak District.
The Barn itself was very comfortable in the mezzanine bedroom, the water was hot, and the furnishings were very stylish. Great location. Kids loved being on the farm with horses and sheep dogs Good sized living area. Comfortable beds. Clean ans tidy. We had a great weekend break at Chebsey Bank Farm Regime gratuit pour maigrir en une semaine naturellement touches like fresh eggs from the farm and lovely flowers on the table were very much appreciated.
Miles was extremely helpful. It's a lovely placethe room is very tidy, everything's good, however the wifi connection is a little bit weak, hopefully it can be better in the future. Very welcoming. Beautiful place too. It felt like a home. Gutted to only be there for two nights as it was just so nice. There were also two very cute dogs and the horses were beautiful too. I highly recommend this place. Lovely stay.
Very good communication and easy to find and access. Stayed here when visiting Alton towers for a couple of days. Would definitely stay again! Mares Hall was a beautiful apartment in an amazing location. We booked in because menu de regime nutritionniste were spending the weekend at Alton towers, however after staying at Mares Hall we were tempted to just spend time taking in the beautiful countryside.
Mares Hall is across the courtyard from the working stables and we loved seeing the horses being led around on the Sunday morning. Anna was super helpful as a host and was always available via message if I had any problems. Thanks for everything and we hope to be back soon :. Stunning property within a beautiful old stable complex - original floor and features and even a baby grand piano! Mare's Hall does what it says on the tin. A converted stable retaining authentic touches but comfortable, warm and fun to stay in.
Highly recommended and check out the history of Ingestre Hall right back to the Doomsday book as well! If you are after quirky with interesting decor this place is for you.
It is well located and individual. However be aware this is the countryside and if you are even slightly scared of spiders or mice this is not the place for you. Spiders and webs were everywhere. Dora was great, when we weren't able to pick up the key at check in, she was more than happy to arrange an alternative for us.
Thank you! Thank you again for such an amazing stay Dora and Alan. We loved the place! A beautifully clean room, super comfy bed and a great shower. It's in a great location and was very handy for us attending a wedding next door. Excellent hospitality - above and beyond which was much appreciated. Our first time booking Air BnB and we absolutely loved it. Exceptionally clean and cosy space. Very close to town but peaceful and quiet to get a good nights sleep. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, accommodation was perfect, so clean, spacious, quiet, fabulous bed, and the arrangements for breakfast were perfect for us.
Good to be able to walk into town also. We enjoyed a lovely meal at the Crown and Anchor. This is a great place to stay offering comfort and privacy whilst still close to town to provide a range of options for food and entertainment. Gorgeous coach house, very spacious with amazing views, every room was spotless with everything available that you could need on a break, lots of info on trips and attractions.
Amazing property. Everything you you could need for a relaxing stay. Great broadband for a remote location. Highly recommended and will hopefully stay again. Beautifully presented and spotlessly clean barn conversion. Had a lovely weekend here with friends. Definitely recommended. The Coach House is a beautiful property with lovely period features. We are a group of 6 adults and there was plenty of space for us to all move around in the lovely main space.
We cooked a full roast dinner and there were plenty of pans etc to achieve this easily. All of the bedrooms were spacious even the small room with the trundle bed was fine for 2 adults. Everything was sparkling clean and the car parking space was brilliant. We will return when we are next in the area. Such a nice and quiet location and so convenient for Alton Towers. More than enough space for two adults and two children, very comfortable and pleasant place to stay.
A nice space in a quiet location with good easy parking. Easy check in with a lock box next to the door. Very clear and prompt instructions from the owner.
Nice place overall, great bathroom and comfy sofas. Only problem we had was with the description of the rooms. The bedroom with 2 single beds is actually one single bed and a put up bed that does not fit in the room and has to be put up in the lounge.
Although it we had this problem and also with some dirty sheets, Robin was quick with communication and sorted the sheets the next morning. The flat is beautiful, clean and comfortable and in a fantastic, quiet location. Tea and sugar was left for our arrival. We had a fantastic stay and loved our frequent visits from Dotty the dog! What a beautiful airbnb! Stunning surroundings, beautiful property! Pictures don't quite do it justice and the beds were so comfy!!
The farm dog dotty is such a sweetheart too! Thanks so much Robin! It was perfect. The place is great and exactly as described. It was easy to self check-in and location gives possibility to unwind. We could make use of the garden and reach all places of interest easily. Kitchen was rajeunir visage svenska vitaminer equipped and even had a tea and coffee waiting for us.
Good communication with the host. Can recommendthanks! Beautiful place to stay, great communication by Maggie and truely amazing breakfast, would deffinately recommend and wish we could have stayed for longer. Maggie is a fantastic host with a great sense of humour, we had great time with her, the breakfast is great, beds very comfy and very clean. Both Maggie and Andy couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome. From the moment we arrived we received an extremely warm welcome.
The accommodation was perfect, with provisions for a variety of hot drinks and snacks. The bathroom was fully equipped with toiletries albeit we had brought our own and we had everything we needed to make our stay extremely comfortable. When I asked our hosts for a local taxi company's number to arrange for us to go to Sandon Hall approx.
However there was roadworks that would result in the cost of the taxi fare being significantly higher than usual. This resulted in Andy our host being so kind as to not only drop us off at the hall but to pick us up later that evening.
Talk about above and beyond, what a wonderful couple Maggie and Andy are. We also received a fabulous breakfast on Sunday morning with Maggie offering such flexibility of when this could be served, adapting to customers plans is clearly second nature to our hosts. Both Tony and I loved the hospitality we received and we are planning a second trip to Staffordshire so that we can enjoy more of the lovely countryside - let's hope that after this review, there is still space at Maggie's place!
Thanks Maggie and Andy. You made our stay so comfortable. We highly recommend your place and we'll be back. Could not recommend more highly. Maggie and husband were as welcoming as could be imagined - a friend and I turned up tired after a long day on the bike and were greeted with good cheer, cold beer and the offer to book us a table at a lovely local restaurant and give us a lift there and back. I have eaten far worse at top hotels and this would be straight into my top three breakfasts of all time.
Maggie made us feel right at home and I will go back in a heartbeat next time we're passing through. This was our second stay at Brook House Farm and it was as good as the first. The accommodation is welcoming, very comfortable and perfect for a break away.
Maggie is such a fabulous host, nothing is too much trouble and the breakfasts are fantastic enough for a packed lunch. We will be back next year with our bikes to explore more of the area.
Thanks Maggie and Andy for a great break. Wonderful hosts who made us so welcome and who really went above and beyond, letting us check in early and offering us lifts to and from a local venue - so helpful and much appreciated! Room itself was cute and comfy with sofa, table and spacious bathroom. Highlight was kishkinta rides cost very civilised breakfast of smoked salmon bagels and coffee in the beautiful garden overlooking a lovely pond and flowers.
It was a pleasure to stay at Brook House Farm. Thank you both! If you want friendliness, helpfulness and people that genuinely love having people stay in their air BandB - this is the place for you. A beautiful place where the hosts offer a superb breakfast, everything you might need in terms of comfort and even a lovely garden to relax in. Maggie is really sociable with a great sense of humour. I strongly recommend a stay here. What a lovely place, quirky, cosy and everything you need for your stay.
Rose was a great host and was very helpful - thanks Rose. Ich habe jetzt 6 Wochen bei Rose waren fabelhaft! Die Wohnung war wunderschön und hatte alles was ich für die Zeit brauchte!
Anfragen waren innerhalb weniger Minuten erledigt. Ich werde gern wiederkommen und weiterempfehlen! We were made to feel most welcome as soon as we arrived. Even our rather grumpy dog was welcomed!
What a lovely cosy place to spend a few nights. A fantastic little hideaway. Rose was a fantastic host and would recommend you give this place a stay. You couldn't get more accommodating hosts, nothing is too much trouble We will definitely be back next time we are staying in the area The place is shrouding with beautiful nature.
Top 5 scariest rides at alton towers
Bob is a fantastic person Thank you. Really lovely property, newly done up and with high quality finishes. Lovely comfy beds and bedrooms and lovely bathrooms.
You can explore the farm and meet the horses and pony, which the kids loved. Thoughtful touches throughout, including toys for kids, bed for dog, suggestions for things to do in the local area and a very ample Christmas hamper! Rachael is an excellent host, on hand to help but equally happy to leave you to it.
Thanks again for a lovely stay x. We stayed with our 3 children and dog for an extended 6 week stay after relocating back to the UK from the USA. Rachael is a great host, can not recommend her highly enough. The accommodation is fantastic, and in a beautiful rural location. Lots to do locally with great access to many local amenities including Cannock Chase. Rachael and Nick are always on hand to help, and find the right balance between privacy and helpfulness to their guests.
Highly recommended! A group of us stayed for my sisters bridal shower and it was amazing. The pictures do not do it justice, the house is really nicely decorated, plenty of space for 12 people with an outdoor area.
It was private and in a lovely location. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would highly recommend! Fantastic place for us all- loads to do, great communication, loads of thoughtful touches such as kids toys, letting us feed the horses, a lovely hamper full of food and lots of local info. Great stay! Very cosy and spotlessly clean. Plenty of surrounding countryside being central to most amenities. Not a lot for very young children to do, although plenty of toys within the property.
Would certainly visit again. We had a fantastic break at Shirleywich Farm. On arrival, the accommodation was clean, welcoming and had lots of little personalised touches that made it feel really special. Rachael was a fantastic host, she gave us suggestions of places to take the children, which were most welcome and we really enjoyed. The children loved being able to meet the horses and Rachael made a fuss of them all whenever she saw them.
Overall, a wonderful stay. A wonderful place to stay, both in terms of the location and also the lodge itself. Stylishly decorated and spacious, we were very comfortable there. There were a few practical things that could have been improved relating to the liste des aliments pour regime diabetique in the house and communication was sometimes a little difficult, but overall I'd be happy to recommend it and would come back again! A truly unique property in an amazing old country estate.
The house itself was impressive with plenty of room for 8, and a huge dining table.
The kids loved all the horses and chickens. Host was quick to help with extra requests and were great to deal with. Locally there were lots of great walks. It was warm and the large upstairs bedroom is lovely. We enjoyed our stay despite a couple of housekeeping issues which we have brought to the host's attention and if these are attended to would happily return or recommend. Beautiful setting and beautifully furnished - this was a luxuriously spacious stay with comfortable sofas and beds, all the equipment required to enjoy some drinks and cook a three course supper.
Lots of interesting details to the building which kept all my guests entertained, and lots to do nearby for all the family - and dogs! Anna was welcoming and responded quickly online to any queries - thank you very much. Fantastic property, finely decorated and impressive features in keeping with the stables. Ideal for group stays, the young ones loved watching the horses.
Very clean. Felt very private and great location for walks. Highly recommend and hope to visit again. Anna's house is an absolute dream! We had a great time in the house and exploring the grounds. The rooms are tidy and all amenities good. It is a truly stunning house. I would highly recommend staying if you are looking for a peaceful break.
