We loved the loft! It was so cozy, very clean and comfortable. It felt like home! The kitchen has everything you need for cooking.
There is a grocery store about 10 minuets walk from the loft and a laundry mat 5 minuets walk. Great safe location. We didn't want to leave! Had a great time at Thibault place. Good communication with the host, very stylish apartment within easy walking distance of the centre of Senlis. Would recommend and stay again. A lovely apartment a few minutes walk from the centre of Senlis. Well equipped and spacious with a lovely outdoor seating area.
Thank you. Thibault is a super host for sure! Amazing place. We have never experienced an AirBnb with such plentiful amenities. After a long plane journey with a toddler, it was a relief not worrying about going and buying essentials, the place is fully stocked. Thibault was also so kind to allow us an earlier check-in and was very communicative and always quick to reply. We made the mistake of not looking at the link he sent us for check-in, but he was very helpful in getting us situated.
The check in procedure is very clear and detailed, obviously Thibault has put in a lot of thought for his guests. Very clean, comfy and quiet home. The foosball table is also a fun little extra. We chose Senlis as an alternative to the hustle and bustle of central Paris and we are so glad we did. Charming area, the home is a very short ride to the center of Senlis.
Chantilly is also only about 20 minutes away. And if you want to go into Paris, there is a quick train ride from Chantilly which we took one evening.
Highly recommended accommodations, the best! Thank you Thibault for your welcome and generosity. We enjoyed staying in your home and look forward to returning. We had everything we needed and the place was spotlessly clean. Thank you for the restaurant recommendations!
A bientot! We had an amazing stay in Senlis! Me, my husband and 2 friends needed somewhere to stay whilst 2 of the group did the Chateau Chantilly triathlon and this was the perfect location. Only a 15 min drive away and actually preferred Senlis to Chantilly as more character and nicer to walk round.
Apartment was exactly as described and plenty of space for 4 people. Outdoor space was a nice extra plus private parking space. We would definitely visit again!
Fantastic house in truly amazing location! Sparkling clean and peacefully silent place! Tribault was very quick in responses. House is located just 20 min by foot from the city center of Senlis. Good access to the highway to Paris as well. We greatly recommend this location for family travelers! Cute place! Thanks very very much for your hospitality I feel like home Thanks very much. Nice and quiet indipendent apartment halfway between chantilly and senlis. Sabrina and his husband were always available to help.
Place is very close to the castle. I got a great night of sleep after km of bike riding, and was fresh for the next The kitchen is fully functional and there is a good sized fridge if you plan to stay more than a night. Overall, the place is very clean. Lovely and quiet location but not miles from anywhere. Christine is a great host and we really enjoyed our stay. My mother and I had a nice stay.
We had a car which was good. Communication was straight forward, house as per photos. Christine's place was perfect for our getaway weekend in Picardie 3 adults and one child. Its location is very convenient being close to Senlis and to Chantilly, also we loved that the house has a very big backyard so our son could run and play safely in the garden.
The house is very clean and the bedrooms have a comfortable size. Will definitely recommend it. Lovely home, quiet, very friendly atmoshere, relaxt, friendly animals dogs and chickens and rooster come by to say Hi. Christine speaks English fluently. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is a very quiet and peaceful setting and spacious. Christine is a great host and made us feel very welcome.
Chantilly is beautiful and the Chateau is definitely worth a visit - amazing!. We also got the train into Paris which was very easy and only took 25mins.
The house is very clean and cosy and we had everything we needed. Would definitely go back for another visit. Christine was a great host. The best thing about the cottage for us was how quiet the location was in the evenings -helpful when you have a toddler and want to relax yourselves too!
We spent our break in Chantilly 15 mins drive away bit appreciated the cooler air here as we were in a heatwave. Christine gave us a lift into Chantilly and waited patiently whilst I ran into a pharmacy! The hostess was great! She welcomed our dogs and loaned us a sweater when it turned un-expectingly cold.
The location was good for the area. Thank you so much for hosting us. We had such a brilliant stay and hope we will return for another weekend. Christine was very kind and the perfect host. She also has 2 very lovely gentle dogs who made the stay even better! Thanks Christine, hope to see pour maigrir plus vite another time.
Phil and Jools x. Ideal base if you are interested in horses, racing or trekking. Beautiful woodlands and just right if you enjoy a walk.

Merci beaucoup. Veronique's place is charming. If you are staying in Chantilly, I would recommend staying here whole heatedly! Just off Chantilly's main city centre and market place, La Feuilleraie is a family home which welcomes you as soon as you enter. The room was comfortably prepared with little pleasant touches. I particularly enjoyed getting to know Patrice and Veronique over dinner.
Thank you for letting me use your kitchen. It was a pleasure to share the evening with you, which made my trip that much more memorable. Very good! Very helpful! Veronique is so nice and easygoing. She helps me with communicating the missing luggage and she said well-applauded English. I thank her so much and would strongly recommend her house to you! Veronique has a lovely large old family house just off the main thoroughfare in Chantilly.
Really cute bijou room with an ensuite area. The interior design reminded me of the old houses in England. Veronique and her husband are very friendly and helpful people.
There place is very close to the chateau. Perfect if you want is regime reel cinemas have a walk or a run. The room was very clean. Very clean, spacious and comfortable apartment, great location near CDG airport.
Jerem responds very quickly to inquiries.
Philippe's place was exactly as advertised and just the bees knees after a very long flight from Australia. Philippe and his dogs made us both very welcome.
I would strongly recommend staying there. What a great value in a quaint part of the country side phillipe is a great host with an excellent space. Philippe and Mary line made out stay in Gouvieux perfect. We stayed in their studio where we found everything to have comfortable days. Only stayed for one night, however it was clean and had enough space for the two of us.
Philippe was plain awesome host! We arrived around midnight and he was there to meet us and show the apartment. He also invited us for a cup of coffee in the morning we left. Apartment itself is excatly what you see in the pictures, my girlfriend and I spent 5 nights in there at it was perfect for us. There are also two super sweet dogs at the property but you won't come across with them unless you want to.
Philippe doesn't speak any English but luckily there's Google translator so everything got sorted without any problems. If you wanna see beautiful French countryside I strongly recommend Philippe's place! It is very nice and comfortable and the owners are very helpful.
The studio and the town are a dream into history, with modern touches for comfort. Carole was thoughtful and generous, taking me and my bags to and from the station when I realized there was none in Senlis and providing air in the heat wave.
Carole and her husband are charming and very comment mincir sans trop deffort hosts. Their apartment is very clean, neat and has good light. It's also perfectly located. I would stay here again without hesitation. Senlis is a remarkable small town. When you go, take a while to look at the sculpture on the facade of the cathedral. It is some of the greatest sculpture carved anywhere in Europe during the middle of the 12th century.
Carole is a great host with a big heart. The apartment is very clean and comfortable. It situated in the central Senlis, old mediaval town, with closeness to everything you would need: cathedrals, bars, restaurants, pharmacy, deli shops, m to supermarket Fairprix.
I enjoyed my stay. Be aware you must have a steady shoes in Senlis - all city roads are made of separate stones - it is like you're walking upon turtle's backs. That you'll notice if you are an older person.
Eric was a kind host and helped us find places we could eat or visit while we were there. His home was close to the Main Street of town which made it easy to walk to various restaurants and stores. The room was clean and private, along with its own bathroom. We enjoyed staying here and wish we could have stayed longer.
The house is old and because of this it didn't smell really nice. However, it is really close to the centre and comfortable as it has it's own WC. We enjoyed staying here! It's a wonderful quiet town and a wonderful family. Eric is a great host. He did for us much more than we expected. And he gave us a good advise about visiting a few historical towns not far from Creil. Those towns were amazing. And it was easy to get to Paris from there too. So it's a great place to stay without paying too much and explore the country of France.
The room is big, with a large bed. There is a simple bathroom and separate toilet next to the room. It is all very basic. I could unpack and hang or stow away my clothes.
It is very quiet. There is a good supermarket and bakery around the corner. Hi Christopher, Thank you for the great place. The location is excellent and the place was clean and had everything we needed.
Thank you for the lovely hospitality. Ronen and Tal.
Virginie is a great host, great communication and happy to make local recommendations.
The venue was very clean and in a great location for our trip. Virginie was very accommodating and fast in her responses.
Virginie's apartment is a nice, stylish apartment in a building that has historical features. If you have your own rental car and plan on exploring the area for a few days, it would be a good place to use as a base. We only had time for one night, as we were flying back to the states the next morning.
Virginie's mother Christine welcomed us and was very nice and she gave us a very good recommendation on a Pakistani restaurant nearby. The place was very lovely situated and decorated! Even though the building is old, it is renovated beautifully without losing the old feeling.
Overall lovely stay! A lovely place to spend some time. The apartment is nice and clean. Lots of places to see around. Great place, spacious and close to airport.
Sweet host-Helpful and quick with responding to questions and giving recommendations! Good location if you are flying out of CDG airport if youhave a car or use a taxi. The owner also offers a shuttle service. It appears to be a work in progress but was functional and comfortable. Needs a blind on the toilet window for privacy. The driveway was hard to get into and small cars bottom out when leavign the road. Was what we expected.
However, we arrived at night and there was no where to buy anything supermarket. We attempted to order online and was told we were either too far or we needed a French number. The home was cute. Looked like the pics, absolutely freezing and no curtains which I guess let in a draught.
The property is through the gates then at the bottom of a hill. Nice space outside with seats which we unfortunately weren't able to use because of the weather.
No bottle opener which we requested and never came. However, communication in all was great. Nicely decorated with some trendy lighting in the shower room and bedroom. Room with toilet had a few spiders and smelt musty but as expected since the apartment is in a basement.
There was some dirty laundry, perhaps curtains, sitting outside the entrance door, maybe they were forgotten there. Has room for a family to stay with extra mattress on floor and futon couch.
Ran out of hot water after one shower so my husband had to wait and ride early to catch a shower. All in all, the place was nice and worked perfectly for what we needed, a place to pack our things, get a quick nights rest and head to catch our flight. Nacer is absolutely amazing. Any problem we might have had he would be there in an instant and go above and beyond for us.
We felt so blessed to have a host like you! We felt safe with Nacer and he made us feel like we were welcome and at home. Thank you for going out with us, giving us Champaign from a special region, giving us all the details of places to see that was in the area of the air bnb, taking us to see some really beautiful places, picking us up when we were stranded and so much more than what I can put into words.
You are an amazing host and hope only great things for your life. Thank you so much! The Air bnb is conveniently located by the train station which takes you straight to Paris in about minutes. We felt very safe in the apartment downstairs door locks after you close it so you have to have a special key to get into the apartment complex. Very clean and great view. It might be a little small but it can be perfect. We fit us 3 girls on the bed and we felt perfectly fine.
Again thank you for everything! Sincerely the American Girls :.
Eve was truly wonderful! The house is a bit of a walk from the town center, but nothing too challenging. The apartment was adorned with an abundant garden of plants and charming art. The room was clean and very peaceful! Looking forward to returning soon :. Eve was very fast to respond, and checking in was easy. She offered to cook dinner and offered to make me breakfast and provide coffee and tea, which was a nice offer. There is a beautiful walking path by the canal.
She did kindly help me with my bags on the way up. The private room was comfortable and clean with a nice bed and a big window. Drinking water was provided in my room. Eve and her daughter and a cute cat live in the apartment, I believe the guest room is Eves own room as she slept on the couch in the living room while I was there. There was a small misunderstanding the first night about Eve having flexible cancellation and checkout dates selected, as I decided to leave early to stay in a more private hotel.
Thank you Eve for being welcoming and kind! Eve is very kind and helpful. She provided us with lots of information and pamphlets on Chantilly.

Overall a great host. However, location of flat is not in the best part of town, is also in a high rise apartment block! Great place to stay! It is located within walking distance from the Chateau de Chantilly and the main street with all the shops. Eve is an amazing host :. We had a great stay at Eve's apartment! We felt very comfortable there, and there were many special touches that made our stay there a fond memory.
Motorist Overtaking Fatalities in Urban Areas
Would highly recommend for anyone looking to visit the beautiful town of Chantilly, and also is a surprisingly easy commute via train into central Paris. Diana's communication was unbelievably good and she was very clear about where to find and how to get into the flat.
Amazing set-up and was very well placed for work! Recommend this to anyone staying in Chantilly. She and Rodriguez lived together in West Des Moines. She said she could tell he was drunk when he came home around 10 a. When she asked him why there was damage to her SUV on the passenger side, he told her he hit a car in a parking lot. The prosecuting attorney said Franck had three loves: education, history and riding. Witnesses said Rodriguez was driving fast and hit Franck without warning, throwing him about 30 feet.
Two other riders were also hit. The prosecutor said that when police tracked down Rodriguez after the crash, he smelled of alcohol and had bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Onge reported. A third cyclist taking the stand described hearing a witness yelling out the license plate number of the vehicle as it drove off. At least two bicyclists testifying, including Molly Jungling, no longer ride bikes after witnessing the crash.
Jonathan Leyva Rodriguez asked for mercy and forgiveness, quietly telling a judge Friday at his sentencing that he hoped to return to his family as soon as possible. Leyva Rodriguez made a choice to drink and drive that day — even though the year-old father of two knew he was barred from driving for a drunken driving conviction already on his record, they said.
After the Aug. Putting him in prison for a long time is the only way you can protect us from him. Scott did as Jan Franck requested, sentencing Leyva Rodriguez to serve a maximum of 34 years in prison after jurors in May convicted him of vehicular homicide and five other charges stemming from the collision that killed Franck, 41, and injured two other cyclists.
Though he did not testify at the trial, Leyva Rodriguez admitted in an interview with Local ABC 5 after the collision that he had been drinking liquor and beer since 5 a.
On Friday, they again pledged to push legislators to pass a law that would help law enforcement and court officials better identify potential repeat offenders and keep them off the road. In addition to the operating while intoxicated conviction, Leyva Rodriguez had been convicted of at least eight drug-related misdemeanors and traffic violations in the 16 months before the fatal crash, a review of court records showed.
In one April incident, he was already on probation for a marijuana charge when he was caught by police again with marijuana and cocaine. Vehicle accidents can happen, even when somebody is not intoxicated, she said. But Scott agreed that Leyva Rodriguez made an intentional decision to drink and drive. Though Leyva Rodriguez has no previous felony conviction, the judge said in his ruling that the lengthy sentence was warranted.
We wanted our sons back, and today rides lumière pulsée one of us got that. Urban arterial with 30 mph speed limit, 2 narrow lanes in each direction. Habitual drunk driver, with long record, barred from driving for 2 years, had been drinking for 5 hours before crash, many times over legal limit, speeding, hit 3 cyclist in group, fled, lied.
Max sentence of 34 years. Bicyclist dies after being struck by vehicle in St. Louis By Joel Currier St. Louis, lost his mother in a similar accident eight months ago. She was walking in Columbia, Mo. Wednesday when he was hit, authorities said.
He died of his injuries about 10 hours later at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Canada was thrown into the westbound lanes of Page. A second vehicle driven by a woman, 68, ran over his bicycle. Canada was not wearing a helmet. No one else was hurt. Both drivers stayed at the crash scene, police said. Although FARS says he was with traffic, it seems highly likely that he was going opposite traffic in a shoulder wide enough to be a bike lane, which is used as parking adjacent to residences on Page just east of Euclid, which is where the crash occurred.
Bicyclist possibly swerved out of shoulder to avoid a parked car, and then clipped mirror of passing car. Street View cellulite kiné ostéopathe that Page Blvd has two narrow non-shareable lanes in each direction with shoulders on each side. The only other possibility consistent with the facts is that bicyclist was riding near the center line, which seems very unlikely.
Police said Hunt and a second cyclist were riding south on the Strip near Spring Mountain Road about 8 a. Hunt, who was wearing a helmet and following the rules of the road, suffered critical injuries. Police said Jimeno stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Neither she nor the other cyclist were injured. A driver who hit and killed a cyclist on the Las Vegas Strip has been sentenced to 90 days house arrest.
Police determined after the crash the driver, identified as Breanna Jimeno, was not impaired. Cynthia said Lindsey Moors, the vehicular crimes unit prosecutor in this vehicular manslaughter case, informed her of the sentence agreement under the plea deal this week after the driver plead guilty.
Matthew was leading a bike tour with one customer at the time. Matthew suffered critical injuries from being struck and would pass away six days later on Aug. The married father of two was a bike tour leader. Moors said the driver, Jimeno, was not distracted or using a cell phone. Moors said the crash happened, according to the driver, because the motorist said she did not see Matthew when passing him because he was pedaling in her blind spot. She said the motorist showed no intent to strike Matthew with her car.
And based on the circumstances, the criminal culpability was at the negligent level — the lowest level just below reckless. It was a morning bike ride when traffic is typically light on the Strip and motorists should be able to see other users of the road such as a bicyclist.
In this case, Moors said she was not confident that she could get jail time if the case went to trial before Justice of the Peace Suzan Baucum because the driver did not show intent to strike Matthew.
Cynthia took this away from the explanation. One big takeaway: Motorists, you need to concentrate on blind spots when changing lanes. In this case, failure to see a person on a bicycle cost a man his life and took him away from his family. A month after his death, about bicyclists held a rally in Summerlin in early September to bring attention to motorists and bicyclists using the roads together.
Could be considered an overtaking collision, although not a hit from behind collision. He landed on xmas train rides north east head, dying almost instantly. Witnesses reported him swerving in and out of the lane as he checked behind him for traffic leading up to that crash. Police Sgt. Conclusion: Motorist overtaking, crash caused by inattentive motorist hitting another car. Bicyclist was in left lane, preparing a left turn.
First motorist slowed or stopped, was rear-ended by second motorist, pushing first car into bicyclist. Apparently striking motorist was not cited, but obviously should have been, as well as charged with negligent homicide. Police blame victim, based on unwarranted assumption that he should not have been in position to make a left turn.
From the witness statements cited in the report it sounds like the bicyclist might have been traveling in the center flush median, but if so it is not clear why he would have moved to the travel lane if he was planning to turn left, unless he was trying to get into crosswalk ahead for Las Vegas Wash trail. Still, striking vehicle either was following too closely or was not paying attention to the car slowing ahead.
Bicyclist hit, killed by truck in Fremont By Henry K. Lee Updated pm, Monday, May 11, A woman riding a bicycle was killed Monday in a crash with a construction truck in Fremont, police said.
The victim, whose name was not immediately released, was riding a bike south in the bike lane on Fremont Boulevard over the Interstate overpass about a.
The woman apparently got scared, began wobbling on her bike and hit the curb before she fell into the path of the truck and was struck by one of the rear tires, Bosques said. The woman died at the scene. The driver of the truck, which was hauling dirt, remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
Lee Updated pm, Tuesday, May 12, Authorities on Tuesday identified the woman who died after she was struck and killed by a construction truck while riding her bicycle in Fremont.
Deborah Pletzer, 47, of Fremont was riding a bike south in the bike lane on Fremont Boulevard over the Interstate overpass about a. Monday when a truck began to pass her in the same direction, said Geneva Bosques, a Fremont police spokeswoman. Pletzer apparently lost control, began wobbling on her bike and hit the curb before she fell into the path of the truck and was struck by one of the rear tires, police said.
She died at the scene. The driver of the truck, which was hauling construction debris, remained at the site and cooperated with police. The fatal collision took place about a. Police believe the cyclist and the driver of a truck hauling dirt were both traveling south on Fremont Boulevard when the impact took place. The bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, and her identity was withheld pending notification of next of kin. The driver of the construction truck remained on scene and was cooperating with police, Bosques said.
The Sky7 and NBC News photos show a yellow covering, presumably over the body, south of the traffic signal, in the area where the bike lane becomes a narrow shoulder to the right of a right-only lane.
No indication that truck hit bicyclist first based on police accounts, although possibly wind effects caused her to lose control, especially if truck was passing closely. Truck driver might have been merging right to turn right, squeezing into the bicyclist, causing her to panic even if she was not hit. Motorist should have been cited for unsafe passing. This is an extremely difficult location for bicyclists, given that they need to merge from bike lane to controlling a lane in a short distance, with fast traffic, while still climbing the overpass.
That was the case last week, as the Orange County Register made a brief mention of a bicyclist who critically injured when he was struck from behind while riding in a Huntington Beach bike lane. Sadly, they announced today that he did not survive his injuries.
The year old victim, who has not been publicly identified, was riding east on Warner Avenue at Springdale Street at pm Tuesday when a driver veered into the bike lane and struck him from behind. The driver remained at the scene, and police do not suspect drugs or alcohol use. No word on why he moved into the bike lane where the victim was riding; however, since the wreck occurred at or near the intersection, he may have been making a right turn. A street view shows a typical six lane Orange County street with a center turn lane, and wide lanes built for excessive speed.
There is no further information such as a statement from the driver or any witness. There is a gas station on this corner, so it is possible that the motorist was starting to turn into the gas station driveway.
Posted speed limit of 45 mph sign at Warner west of Bolsa Chica. Officers responded to the fatal crash just after p. Eric Steven Glasnapp, 46, of Carlsbad died when his bicycle and a minivan collided.
Both were traveling northbound on College when Glasnapp was struck from behind, officials said. The driver of the minivan stayed at the scene. Officials say it does not appear that drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash. A fault has not been determined, police said. Anyone with information about this collision can call the Carlsbad Police Department at
